I have been dying to read more after finishing The Journey of the Pearl. This second book in the series does not disappoint. It picks up with the story of Marco, the son of Adan Longinus from the first book. Just as the first book, this is a page turner. The ancient world is brought to life and you feel like you are immersed in it. The author has meticulously researched her subject and theme and invites you to step in and experience the ride. Historical fiction at it’s best with a twist of belief. I can’t wait for more.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the author and/or publisher through the Speakeasy blogging book review network. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
